  3. Bradbury Group kicking off Fire Door Safety Week with an exciting new launch

In a significant stride towards enhancing fire safety, Bradbury Group is thrilled to announce the integration of optional fire rating for our bespoke steel doors in the M2M+ Express range. This exciting development is timed perfectly to coincide with Fire Door Safety Week 2023, reinforcing the company’s commitment to promoting fire safety in the built environment.

M2M+ Express

The Express range provides our customers with a bespoke steel door option, with a range of hardware and finish options, that is ready for despatch in as little as three days. The addition of the fire rating – only available for Express doors with specific hardware – will not alter the lead time with Express doors still available in five days and Super Express available in just three days, with a limit of five doorsets per day*. M2M+ Super Express is exclusively available to CPQ customers through the platform.

M2M+ Express and Super Express are available in left hand and right hand inward or outward, in both single and double door configurations, and come in a wide variety of standard colours and finishes. This range is a popular option for those urgently needing a single or double personnel door, fire exit or substation door.

Andy Edser, Bradbury Group’s Technical Director said: “Our decision to invest in the M2M+ Express steel doorset with the addition of optional fire rating emphasises our unwavering commitment to safety and innovation. We believe in providing our customers with comprehensive solutions that enhance fire safety standards in commercial and industrial spaces.”

With these doors, you can have both style and safety in one package, ensuring that your building is not just aesthetically pleasing, but also meets the highest fire safety standards. When it comes to fire protection, Bradbury Group is a name you can trust, backed by decades of expertise and a commitment to keeping people and property safe.

Why Fire Door Safety Matters

Fire doors are a vital component of any building’s passive fire protection system. They are designed to compartmentalise fire, prevent its spread, and provide occupants with valuable time to evacuate safely in the event of a fire emergency. However, not all fire doors are created equal.

Fire Door Safety Week, launched in 2013 by the British Woodworking Federation, runs from 25th – 29th September and is a crucial event dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of fire doors in safeguarding lives and property. It’s a time for manufacturers, building owners, architects, contractors, and the public to come together and prioritise fire safety. With a focus on promoting best practices, compliance with regulations, and the significance of regular maintenance, this year’s Fire Door Safety Week serves as a reminder of the pivotal role fire doors play in ensuring our safety. Stay informed and engaged during this event with help from the campaign’s website to help create safer environments for us all.
