Bradbury Group surpasses 15 months with no lost time accidents

In the realm of industrial manufacturing, safety stands as a cornerstone of success. We are proud to continually demonstrate exceptional commitment to workplace safety and are thrilled to have recently surpassed our 15th consecutive month with no lost time accidents.

A Remarkable Milestone in Workplace Safety

This accomplishment speaks volumes about our dedication to ensuring the wellbeing of our employees. Alistair Herron, Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager at Bradbury Group, expressed his gratitude saying: “This milestone is a testament to our collective efforts and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.”

A Culture of Safety Excellence

Achieving more than a year with no lost time accidents is not an isolated event, but a reflection of our ingrained safety culture. This culture is deeply rooted in all aspects our operation and upheld by all levels of management and staff. Each month, a key area of health and safety is spotlighted and featured in our employee newsletter to ensure all departments are kept up to date with the latest industry news, internal changes and newly implemented processes.

Regular safety training, comprehensive risk assessments, and proactive hazard management are integral components of our health and safety approach.

  1. Employee Empowerment: Every Bradbury employee is encouraged to actively participate in maintaining a safe work environment. This engagement creates a collaborative effort where potential hazards are identified and addressed promptly.
  1. Continuous Improvement: Bradbury Group acknowledges that safety is a journey, not a destination. Regular reviews of safety protocols ensure that they remain up-to-date and effective.
  2. Continued Training: Through the Bradbury Academy, regular training equips both production and office-based employees with the knowledge and skills required to work safely.
  3. Celebrating Milestones: Bradbury Group recognises the importance of celebrating safety milestones. Acknowledging achievements motivates employees to remain committed to safety.

An Inspiration for Others

Bradbury Group’s achievement serves as an inspiration for the manufacturing sector and beyond. It proves that with the right approach, workplace safety milestones can be reached.

As Alistair Herron aptly summarises, “This achievement is the result of collective effort and shared values. Let us continue to prioritise safety, knowing that our commitment makes a significant difference in the lives of our colleagues. No one comes to work to get hurt.”
