Every month we like to shine a spotlight on a different Bradbury Group team member. This month we’re chatting with Gary Flett; Production Operative and this month’s feature for employee spotlight!
My daily routine involves working on the Paintline. I help to prep the doors pre-paint, and learning the paint booths will allow me to spray the doors. Additionally, I also work in the offline area in Finishing, where I help prepare various components like vision panels, louvers, and kick plates. This ensures that our door builders always have the necessary materials on time.
I have been with Bradbury’s for nearly six years now!
One of the most memorable projects I’ve been a part of was contributing to the team that built doors for the Qatar Stadium for the 2022 World Cup. Another remarkable team project was our involvement in crafting doors for Canary Wharf. Here at Bradbury, we have an exceptional team spirit, and we all work cohesively to get the job done right the first time.
When I’m not at work, you can find me enjoying quality time with three of my children: my daughter and twin boys, at my mum’s caravan. During my free time, I enjoy playing football and pursuing my interest in motocross.
My favourite motto is: “Work smart, not harder.”
