Every month we like to shine a spotlight on a different Bradbury Group Team Member. This month we’re chatting with Kayleigh Johnson, Assistant Production Manager.

What does your day-to-day look like

“My day-to-day consists of planning in production for all of our doors. I start my day by organising each area’s job priorities, to ensure everyone is set and aware of what they will be working on. I move on to preparing a sequence of paint colours to ensure the paint line runs efficiently and effectively. Later in the day, I will move on to sending out KPIs based on previous days, measuring them against what we have planned and how many we have completed. My role also involves liaising with the Purchasing and Stores departments to make sure we have everything we need to complete the jobs we have planned for the day and rearrange if necessary.”

How long have you been with Bradbury Group?

“I have been with Bradbury Group for nearly 20 years.”

How did you come to your role?

“I first started in Production then I got a job in Sales which I stayed at for over 14 years. My heart has always been with Production though, so when the planning job came available, I jumped into it and now here I am – the Assistant Production Manager.”

 

If you could learn, what would it be?

“How to bake a good cake! (I swear my twin sister stole that gene from me)”

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever gotten?

“To smile in the face of adversity.”

What is your motto/quote?

“To live to the fullest as you only get one shot.”
