Last week, Bradbury Group welcomed 16 year old Mackenzie Downie into the office and factory for an exciting three day work experience placement.
Through the Bradbury Academy, a scheme dedicated to education, training, and the development of skills for staff, Mackenzie got to spend time with each of our in-house departments and explore our state of the art factory to discover more about how the business operates.
An Engineering UTC Northern Lincolnshire student, Mackenzie expressed his desire to work within the engineering world and said the three-day placement at the Bradbury Group was “very interesting” and gave him “a great insight into the manufacturing world.”
“The thing I enjoyed doing the most while here at Bradbury Group was looking at all the different machinery in the factory and getting to know what each individual does from the start of the line to the finish,” he said.
Time in the marketing department allowed him to snap some photos around the building on an SLR camera and design a new logo for the group, which you can see below:
We were delighted to have Mackenzie join us and hope he found his time with the group both interesting and valuable.
