Now a Marketing Assistant working in a team of three, Kinga leads on a number of creative projects that include external events, exhibitions, website support, case studies, social media, and much more.
She’s an integral part of not only the marketing function within Bradbury Group, but the business as a whole. We sat down with Kinga a year on from her first week to find out more about her role and how she feels about her first 12 months as a Bradbury employee.
I joined Bradbury Group in October 2021 as Marketing Graduate and soon after progressed to Marketing Assistant.
In my daily routine, I usually start my day off by checking enquiries and my inbox for any emails that have come through and move on to creating my daily ‘to do list’, which allows me to stay organised and on top of any important tasks that need to be prioritised.
I manage internal marketing and communications. This requires me to liaise with our HR department to produce and deliver any important messages to our employees, deliver on any internal campaigns or employee events (such as the Friday drinks perk) and generally just ensure that the Bradbury Group staff force is kept informed about what’s happening around the business.
I also work closely alongside my manager to support her with external events and webinars, create social media content for our Newton Doors brand, regularly update marketing materials and create content for the group website.
If you can’t find me, it’s likely that I’m on the factory floor taking photographs!
No two days are the same in the office! But my favourite part would probably be developing marketing materials such as creating new brochures, leaflets and promotional content, as well as attending and exhibiting at national trade events.
Keep a close eye on our social media channel to see where will be returning this year…
It would probably have to be PAS24 launch. As a team, we created beautiful gift boxes full of our branded goodies for customers who signed up for the launch event.
Since I started in my role, Bradbury Group has sent me on various training and development workshops to develop my current skills but also learn new things.
I have attended a variety of training sessions, from ‘how to become a good leader’ to support with social media content. Throughout this year, I plan to attend a number of webinars to further expand my knowledge of the market and products.
Creative, exciting & innovative.
My goals for 2023 are to further my development by progressing and growing within my role.
Take some free online marketing certification courses. There are a lot of free courses available through LinkedIn or Google Digital Garage that you can complete. Some of them even offer a certificate that later you can feature on your LinkedIn profile and CV.
This year, Rosie McRobbie, International Business Development Manager, received a special accolade for the completion of her Level 5 Diploma in International Trade through the Institute of Export.
