Newton Doors partners with NBS

Since then, the team has been working hard to extend our product offering on the platform, and we are pleased to announce that Newton Doors range of communal entrance doors are now available for adding to project specification through NBS.

A phased approach

“This is the next step in a phased approach to NBS” commented Andy Edser, Group Engineering Director. “We are now working with NBS to ensure BIM objects are available for our products and our team internally are working on adding our additional ranges to the platform.”

In the coming months, the platform will also feature M2MFD, our flood door range and Capital45, our bespoke architectural doorsets.

Benefits of NBS Source

Since our launch in March, the group has seen a great uptake in product specification additions. The platform, which works alongside NBS Chorus, allows architects and specifiers to review enhanced product data with the end goal of saving the specifier time and money.

About ClassicAL doors

Newton Doors range of ClassicAL communal entrance doors are constructed using reinforced aluminium and stainless steel, and come in a range of design styles such as portcullis, various panel options and fully glazed. They can be certified to LPCB LPS 2081 Security Rating B, making them ideal entrance solutions for social housing, schools, offices and other communal entrances where security and aesthetics are key.

Due to the lightweight materials they are constructed with, ClassicAL doors are easy to install and are compliant to the opening forces requirement of British Standard BS8300.
