With help from our internal Mental Health First Aiders, Aimee Burman and Kayleigh Johnson, we are marking Time to Talk Day 2023 with an employee wellbeing drop-in session.

Spurring the nation’s biggest mental health conversation, Mind and Rethink Mental Illness’ Time to Talk Day happens every year and sees friends, families, colleagues and strangers come together for a chat about just about anything.

“The ‘Time to Talk Day’ website says, “Make space in your day for a conversation about mental health”, and that’s exactly what we’re doing,” said HR & Payroll Coordinator, Aimee.

“Some people might not feel comfortable enough to strike up that initial conversation so we’re removing that barrier.”

Research reveals that 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem in any given year. We prioritise employees’ wellbeing, providing a library of resources including auto-enrolment into the Health Assured Employee Assistance Programme, regular communication about free national and local support, and access to a modern on-site gym.

“It’s important that our teams know that we’re here for them, not just today but whenever they might need somebody to talk to,” said Aimee.
