Constructed in 2014, 20 Fenchurch Street is home to world-leading financial and international companies, as well as being a popular tourist destination due to its numerous restaurants and pioneering sky garden.

Canary Wharf Contractors presented Martin Roberts with the challenge of finding an equilibrium between fire safety, security and suitability for high volumes of foot traffic. They were seeking a steel door provider who had the expertise and product depth to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions, to provide premium access solutions while preventing security and fire threats.

Selected by CWC due to our long-standing history in providing high-specification, aesthetically-pleasing doorsets to Canary Wharf builds, Martin Roberts were asked to design, supply and install 475 steel doorsets to 20 Fenchurch Street.
Steel fire doors were installed in order to prevent the spread of fire or smoke in the event of an emergency, and to provide safe exit points for the high number of visitors.
Factory-prepared to facilitate accurate and time-saving installation onsite, the doorsets were supplied complete with hardware set,s and gave the specifier maximum choice.
