In 2017, MCC completed the first phase of its master plan for the redevelopment of Lord’s – the Warner Stand. The new stand has 2,656 seats, and combines outstanding facilities with innovative architecture which needed a range of high-quality doors to suit the current architecture already in place.

The Challenge

Martin Roberts were contracted to provide a range of single and double doorsets for use in various locations within the new stand, from service risers to hospitality areas. It was important that the new doorsets provided easy accessibility to the new structure, as well as ensuring safe evacuation of the stand, which can hold 2,656 people.

The Solution

When considering the solution, the Martin Roberts team had to ensure they added to the aesthetic appearance of this new premium stand, combined with functional doorsets to best secure and protect the various areas. In a move to address both of these issues, the team opted to supply the stand with Bradbury Security’s M2M+ range of doors.

The M2M+ range of doors are incredibly versatile and can be adapted to suit a wide range of environments, as well as being highly configurable. Along with a vast range of colours and finishes, these were the best solution to really complete the entrance and exits around the ground.
