At Bradbury Group we believe in the power of community and compassion.
Laila, a resilient 12-year-old battling cancer for the second time, holds a special place in our hearts, as a cherished family member of one of our own, Romina Devita-McMahon, Sales Account Manager.
To support Laila and her family during this challenging journey, Jonathan Potter, Customer Service Executive, organised a company wide charity bake sale on the 27th November. The event aimed to raise funds to direct support Laila’s medical expenses, or to spend on making incredible memories with her family.
The response from our compassionate team members was overwhelming. Generous donations poured in and delicious bakes were tasted, ranging from homemade treats to store-bought delights.
The generous contributions of Bradbury Group’s employees raised over £225, which Bradbury Group will be matching, resulting in an impressive total of £550.
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Jonathan Potter and everyone who provided their support to the bake sale. Your collective kindness will significantly aid Laila and her family with medical expenses and additional treatment abroad and memory making.
As the festive season approaches, we would like to take this opportunity to wish Laila and her family a wonderful Christmas.
