Bradbury Group is proud to support BBC Children in Need with involvement in a number of activities during November.
On the 18th and 19th November, Bradbury Group will be partaking in a fundraising Cyclathon. The charity cycle ride will take place virtually using two exercise bikes from the onsite gym, with employees encouraged to book in 15 minute slots.
The objective is to cycle 300 miles; 10 miles for each year of trading for Bradbury Group.
“We wanted to tie in our anniversary to our fundraising” says Anil Patel, Sales & Marketing Director. “Ten miles for each year we have been operating is a nice sized challenge and should be a double celebration for us on our 30th year!”
The challenge can be undertaken in optional fancy dress or pyjamas, something the team is excited for! We are expecting spotty clothing and Pudsey ears galore!
Donations are being encouraged through the group fundraising page here
As part of the BBC Children in Need week, DIY SOS: the Big Build will be broadcast during November and Bradbury Group is proud to have been involved. Watch this space for further updates!
Alongside the employee fundraising, Bradbury Group has pledged to donate £1 for each door manufactured at their facility in Scunthorpe throughout the month of November.
“We wanted to match the employee commitment with our own donation!” commented Anil. “This is a great way to link our donation to our operations, whilst also showing our support to the worthy cause”.
