At Bradbury Group, our core values – passion, fairness, trust...
As part of our Early Careers scheme, we are excited to welcome two new graduates to Bradbury Group; Joe and Alex.
Joe joins Bradbury Group as a Business Development Graduate. Joe graduated with a degree in Business & Enterprise Management from Sheffield Hallam University and brings with him experience from his previous role as Assistant Manager at Enterprise Rent a Car. Joe will spend the next twelve months rotating around the group functions, learning all aspects of product and sales processes before going on to manage his own territory and building up his own customer base.
Alex joins us as Graduate Design Engineer, having recently graduated from the University of Hull with a masters in Mechanical Engineering. Alex’s role will be focussed around the products and engineering discipline, learning about the Bradbury processes before starting his own design projects. Alex has already started looking at Continuous Improvement.
Both Joe and Alex join Lewis, our Engineering Graduate who joined Bradbury in April 2021.
Joe and Alex spent their first week meeting people in the group, including group Managing Director, Richard Butler.
Richard commented ‘We believe that young people are a vital part of Bradbury’s future, bringing to the group enthusiasm, commitment and new ideas. We are proud of our early careers programme, and I look forward to seeing Joe and Alex grow in their new roles.’
One of the first projects for our graduates is to review and develop Bradbury Group’s Corporate Social Governance programme. Joe and Alex are part of a project team, who will review Bradbury’s environmental, social and corporate social responsibility impact. The team will also implement a plan of new initiatives and improvements, contributing to Bradbury’s future.
We are currently recruiting for an additional three business graduates, who will join Bradbury Group in October 2021.
“Our prospective graduates’ will benefit from spending periods in various different departments, getting a feel for the company, products and processes, before focussing on their own roles” says Samm Honeybell, Early Careers Recruiter for Bradbury Group. “This will provide them with a great foundation for their future careers, as well as benefitting Bradbury as skilled and motivated employees.”
