Trading steel doors internationally

As a Scunthorpe based family run business, the group has been trading internationally in more recent years, supplying flagship projects like the Hong Kong Museum and the Qatar World Cup Stadium.

“Winning this award is testament to the team who work with customers internationally on a daily basis, overcoming challenges and delivering our doors all around the world” commented Tim Strawson, Owner and Director.

The group continues to invest in international business development, with plans for installation support packages and supporting partners with technical product knowledge.

Education, Training and Skills

Education, training and upskilling are fundamental to our business, and we want to continue to develop the future of Bradbury Group, through apprenticeship schemes, internships and work experience. This year alone, we have recruited apprentices for various roles, from IT to engineering and production operatives, and we are proud to say that we have delivered over 400 training courses to our employees during 2022.

This year, we also launched the Bradbury Academy, a dedicated scheme aimed at providing each individual with a personalised development programme. We are also continuing to provide the Youth Engineering charitable scheme to young people, providing alternative career provision for 16-18 year olds.
